The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), more commonly known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or Obamacare, is the leading force in healthcare reform. Many changes have taken effect, or are imminent, that impact both consumers and businesses alike. Our philosophy is to continue to educate ourselves and our clients, both current and prospective, on these important regulations.

Within Chesapeake Benefits, we have secured (2) certified Healthcare Reform Specialist designations from the Health Care Reform Center and Policy Institute. The certification for these designations was the first introduced in the country. Along with these designations, all of our team members are certified to work with the Healthcare Exchanges.
